ABOUT ABCB FIRST AID & SAFETY TRAINING
Since 1985, ABCB First Aid & Safety Training has proudly served Nanaimo and communities across British Columbia with professional first aid and workplace safety training. Originally founded as Petersen’s Safety Group, we’ve spent over 40 years helping people gain the skills and confidence to respond when it matters most.
As an accredited WorkSafeBC Training Agency, Canadian Red Cross Training Partner, and Columbia Medical Training Affiliate, we offer WorkSafeBC First Aid, CPR, Marine First Aid, Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), and a variety of workplace safety courses.
Our experienced instructors deliver hands-on training 7 days a week from our downtown Nanaimo training center or on-site at your workplace. We proudly travel throughout British Columbia, including remote and rural communities, bringing professional, industry-recognized training wherever it’s needed.
At ABCB, we believe first aid is about more than earning a certificate. It’s about building confidence, looking out for one another, and creating safer workplaces, families, and communities.
